Any serious political observer knows that seeing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) stumble and stammer through press conferences is a regular occurrence.
The woman can’t get through one of them without forgetting what she’s talking about, rambling, making mincemeat out of words, and being repetitive. She’s practically famous for it.
But now, after POTUS Donald Trump tweeted a 30-second montage of her stumbling and bumbling through a press conference earlier this week, suddenly Left-wing Democrats and their propagandists in the “mainstream media” are calling legitimate editing processes “doctoring.
As NBC News (which, naturally, labeled the president the ‘attacker’) reported:
President Donald Trump on Thursday night tweeted out an edited video showing Nancy Pelosi stumbling over her words, escalating the personal attacks he has made against the Democratic House speaker.
The video, apparently from a segment on Fox Business’ “Lou Dobbs Tonight,” features portions of a 20-minute news conference Pelosi held Thursday in a montage that lasts about 30 seconds. It shows her tripping over her words. At one point in the video, a moment is repeated several times.

“PELOSI STAMMERS THROUGH NEWS CONFERENCE” the president tweeted.
It’s true. She did. And no, the president did not tweet video of the entire 20-minute press conference; he sent out an edited version — edited to catch many of the instances in which Pelosi obviously stammered through words.
Like she does…a lot.
That’s not “doctored,” as her office claimed and as NBC News published without challenge (they labeled Trump the ‘attacker,’ after all). The phrase insinuates that it was unnaturally altered to portray something that wasn’t there or didn’t happen. Edited is not ‘doctored.’
The network went on to report some of the background behind the press conference and the president’s tweet.
Earlier this week, the president walked away from a meeting with Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) at the White House in which the subject was to be ‘infrastructure.’ As The National Sentinel reports, the president has talked about repairing and rebuilding America’s crumbling roads, bridges, airports, schools, and communication since his 2016 campaign, quadrupling Hillary Clinton’s own pledge to spend $250 billion over five years.
Why did the president walk away if he really wants to do infrastructure? Because an hour or so before Pelosi arrived at the White House for talks she accused the president of a “cover up” — of something. He’s a criminal, in other words.
Well, as presidential counselor Kellyanne Conway said Friday, POTUS isn’t having any of this nonsense. As she stated, Democrats can “either legislate or investigate,” but not both. She added that Democrats “can come back over today” to begin discussions about infrastructure, which they say they want to address.
“But do they really? Is that what’s most important?” she said.
In defending the president, one of his attorneys, Rudy Giuliani, said on Twitter, “Nancy Pelosi wants an apology for a caricature exaggerating her already halting speech pattern. First she should withdraw her charge which hurts our entire nation when she says the President needs an ‘intervention.’ ‘People who live in a glass house shouldn’t throw stones.’”

Eventually, NBC News gets to the part where the “doctored” (edited) video the president tweeted is verified:
Video on C-SPAN of Pelosi’s full weekly legislative briefing with reporters Thursday shows Pelosi making the same stumbles seen in the clip tweeted by the president. The briefing lasted about 20 minutes.
So there you have it. Per NBC, POTUS Trump “attacks” Pelosi for tweeting an edited video that accurately captures her stumbling all over the English language and the podium and the reporters covering her rambling.
How’s that for ‘unbiased reporting?’
