A letter purportedly signed by “50 former senior intelligence officials” claims that the emails and other damning information found on Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop were conjured up by Russia to manipulate the election in favor of Donald Trump. Fox News‘ Tucker Carlson, however, says the letter’s claims are false.
Carlson says he has personally seen evidence proving that the contents of Hunter’s laptop are legitimate, and that Russia had nothing to do with bringing any of it to light as Democrats are now claiming.
“This afternoon, we received nonpublic information that proves it was Hunter’s laptop,” Carlson announced during a segment. “No one but Hunter could’ve known about or replicated this information. This is not a Russian hoax. We are not speculating.”
Carlson technically made this announcement several hours prior to the letter going public in a Politico report. The letter alleges that the Hunter laptop scandal “has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation,” though it provides “no new evidence” to support that claim.
Meanwhile, a comparative analysis of the signature found on the repair order for Hunter’s laptop would appear to be a close match to the one found on a 2019 paternity suit he signed, corroborating the claim that Hunter did, in fact, personally sign the repair order for his laptop.

In the letter, it is admitted that “if we are right” (emphasis added), then Russia is “trying to influence how Americans vote in this election, and we believe strongly that Americans need to be aware of this.”
In other words, the letter’s signers do not even know if they are right and are only speculating, just like they did with the Russian collusion hoax from 2016 and beyond.
These former intelligence officials apparently missed the memo the other day from Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliff, who publicly announced that “Hunter Biden’s laptop is not part of some Russian disinformation campaign.”
Some might argue that this is just Ratcliff’s word against that of his predecessors, but consider this: Neither Joe nor Hunter has yet to refute the laptop scandal, suggesting that it does, in fact, incriminate them.
“I’ve read a lot of stories about the process through which the Hunter Biden story has been handled inside newsrooms and not one yet has said these critical words: ‘they are not true,'” tweeted Saager Enjeti, a Trump ally and host of Rising w/Krystal and Saager.
Meanwhile, Trump responded to the letter claiming more Russian collusion by tweeting a photo of Democrat Sen. Chuck Schumer, in which he is laughing while sharing a doughnut and coffee with Vladimir Putin.
“We should start an immediate investigation into @SenSchumer and his ties to Russia and Putin,” Trump tweeted alongside the photo in typical Trump trolling fashion. “A total hypocrite!”
Former New York Police Department (NYPD) commissioner Bernard B. Kerik, a convicted felon who was pardoned by Trump earlier this year, says he has looked through Hunter’s laptop himself and believes that the Bidens “belong in handcuffs.”
Many Americans are demanding to see the contents of the laptop themselves, especially the skeptics who worry that this is just more “Lock her up!” empty politics prior to an election, with no plans to actually seek justice.
“Dump all the laptop contents on Wikileaks if it’s real,” wrote one Zero Hedge commenter. “Let the people sort it out. If you say it’s not real, prove it. If Biden wants me to believe it’s not real, then stand behind a podium and say clear as day into a pile of cameras that it’s all a forgery, and that you’ve done nothing wrong.”
